When I Spilled My Sister's Paints

So yesterday was kind of a disaster. I swear I wasn't trying to ruin anything or be mean, but I just got distracted by my phone while we were working on our art project together in the basement. First off, there was this amazing painting she had started last week that looked like it could end up being something really special for her school fair thing coming up. It's not every day you get a compliment from Mom about your artwork, so I know how much it meant to her. Anyway, while we were working side by side, I accidentally knocked over this cup of water I had next to me because my phone fell on the floor and startled me when I reached for it. And guess what? The whole cup went flying into my sister's paints. Her yell was probably heard all the way up in Dad’s office upstairs! She freaked out, and her eyes were like saucers - you know how protective she can be of anything to do with art. It was such a mess cleaning it all up too. We had to throw away half the colors and replace them with new tubes from the store today. I feel awful about it, honestly. She hasn't really said much since then either, just kind of been keeping her distance, which is weird because we usually joke around so much. So yeah, that's my confession - how do you deal when you make a big mistake like that and lose something important to your sibling? I wish there was some easy way to fix it all.
