I Pranked My Colleague by Locking Them Out of Their Code Repository for a Week

So, there's this colleague at work who's always bragging about how they're the smartest person in the company. They think they can do everything better than anyone else and never asks for help or even acknowledges that we exist as fellow developers. It's really annoying because I know they have no clue what teamwork is all about. Last week, there was this big project deadline coming up. We were all supposed to be working together to get the new feature out the door, but my colleague just kept trying to take over everything and not listen to anyone else’s ideas. It got so bad that I decided enough was enough. I had an idea: why not make them realize they can't do it alone? I waited until everyone left for the day and then slipped into their office when no one was looking. What better way to show them up than by locking them out of our shared code repository, the very thing they claim to be a master at managing? I spent a good half-hour carefully changing permissions so that only my user account could access it and logging out everyone else. Next morning came and there were rumors flying around about what had happened. People couldn't believe how this colleague kept insisting everything was fine when clearly their work was delayed. When they figured out what really went down, oh man... The look on their face was priceless! They were so flustered and lost without being able to access the code repository that it didn’t take long before everyone knew something fishy had gone down. Of course, I fixed everything as soon as I saw them getting desperate. It felt amazing seeing them squirm for a change. Plus, now everyone's been more cooperative on our projects since then! Sometimes you just have to give people a reality check and show them the error of their ways.
