White Lies at Work

So I'm having one of those weeks where everything is just boring and repetitive. Yesterday, my boss asked me to finish a report by Friday, but I was already drowning in other stuff. Instead of saying that, I told him it would be done by Thursday. Now here I am, scrambling to make something up by tomorrow. But hey, at least now I get an extra day to procrastinate! I feel pretty guilty about lying though; what if my boss finds out? Then again, maybe he won't notice. Or will he? Either way, I really need to get this done without having to explain the lie. So let's hope for no surprises and that my report magically comes together in the next 24 hours!
