Forgot Great-Grandma's Birthday Twice in a Row

I know what you’re thinking, how could I forget such an important day? But let’s face it, life gets busy. The thing is, I’ve always prided myself on being organized and attentive to family matters, so when this happened twice in a row for Great-Grandma Clara’s birthday, well, it shook me up. It was her 100th year last fall, and then this spring came around, and still no card sent or phone call made. I feel like the least thoughtful person ever. Now I have a whole notebook just for important dates.
