Code Snippet Addiction

So here's the thing, I've got a problem with code snippets. Every time I start working on something new, instead of writing my own functions or lines of code from scratch, I end up spending hours digging through GitHub and Stack Overflow for that perfect snippet that does exactly what I want. It's not like it saves me much time in the long run since customizing someone else's code always ends up taking longer than starting fresh. But there’s something about finding that one-liner or that slick little script that just works... Am I the only one who gets lost down this rabbit hole? Is it weird to get so excited about pre-written code? Advice appreciated.
