My Older Siblings' Secret Room

So like, you know how my older siblings always have their own space in our house? Well, they kind of made this big deal about how it was off-limits to me and that I couldn't go in there without permission. But one day, we were all supposed to be out for the afternoon at some family thing and nobody would be home except for these two old dogs who don’t care what room I’m in anyway. So...I got curious, you know? And I went to peek in their secret hideout or whatever it is they call it, right? Turns out, there's nothing super exciting inside, no secret code books or anything like that. Just a bunch of old photo albums and some weird board games with pieces missing. But what really got me was finding this old laptop under the bed, my siblings never mentioned they had one of those either! I didn't even turn it on, just looked through some folders. They’re probably going to kill me when they find out but honestly? It’s kind of boring in there too. Like why would anyone want to hide all that stuff? But then you know how sometimes things go wrong and it’s not your fault at all? So I got distracted checking out the photo albums and accidentally knocked over a stack of books, loudly, like really loud. That was bad timing because my friend texted me while this was happening, and I had to lie that I was still at home alone even though technically I wasn’t supposed to be in there. And now every time they come back from somewhere, I'm terrified someone's going to ask if everything looks normal or something. So yeah...I'm just rambling here but honestly, it feels a bit like my curiosity got the better of me and look where that landed me! Now I’m scared to even walk near their door without checking for any suspicious signs first. But hey, at least they haven’t found out yet.
