I Was Late on My Math Quiz Homework

Hey guys, I know this isn't exactly a big deal, but I still feel really guilty about it. So, yesterday in math class, our teacher gave us a quiz at the end of class as usual. But then she announced that we had until midnight to complete and submit the homework portion of it online through the school portal. That's totally doable... except that I didn't manage to get it done before midnight because my friend called me for help on their history project, and honestly I got a bit lost in a game afterward and forgot all about time. So there was this awkward moment today when Mr. Johnson mentioned we could still turn it in late with 10% off or something, but I just nodded along silently feeling super embarrassed the whole time.
