told mom i did my chores

ok so my room is like a disaster area and mom was totally going to check it out today cuz she saw me sneak some extra candy and got suspicious. i knew if she found the mess i'd be in big trouble so instead of cleaning up, i just put all the trash under my bed where i could reach it quick and left the room looking tidy. then when she came back downstairs, i called her upstairs saying i was done with my chores but i totally lied! now there's a mountain of junk hidden underneath and i feel kinda bad... but also kinda good because i dodged the whole cleaning thing lol. what can i say, i'm a pro at these little white lies :)
