Started Knitting Yesterday

Decided to learn knitting because I saw it on TikTok and thought it looked relaxing. Bought a big bag of yarn and needles at the craft store but haven't figured out how to make anything yet. Made three failed scarves before giving up and just making random shapes. My grandma tried to help me, but she's been knitting for decades so it felt like she was speaking a different language. Now I've got piles of odd-shaped wool things everywhere and no idea what to do next. Maybe should give it another shot tomorrow, or maybe just stick with watching others knit instead.
