My Little White Lie

I lied to my boss last week when I said I had to cancel lunch because of a dentist appointment. In reality, I just wanted to skip out on the boring meeting they were planning to discuss. I felt a bit guilty afterward but hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to escape the mundane.
