My Messy Locker Conspiracy Theory

Anonymous Guilty Prowler #866 · General

So here's a little tale about me and the lockers at middle school. We all have that one person in class who seems to always mess with your stuff, and for me, it was this kid named Alex. I know everyone thinks of them as the innocent type, they're quiet and always have their nose in a book, but there's something fishy about how neat their locker is compared to my messy chaos. It all started when my best friend Sarah pointed out that every time I left my locker open for even a minute, some stupid flyer or random piece of trash would appear inside. At first, I thought it was just the wind or maybe kids who were pranksters but had nothing better to do with their time than mess up lockers. Then one day, after a PE class where we all have to change quickly and forget about our stuff, my locker was not only open but half-empty! My notebook, some pens, and even my new headphones (the ones I've been saving for) were gone. I confronted Alex about it the next day, trying to keep cool. 'Hey, did you see if anyone messed with my locker?' I asked as casually as possible in our packed hallway. 'Oh yeah, a few people saw someone put that flyer in there,' they said while looking down at their phone screen like it's so fascinating and has nothing to do with me. Now, this isn't something huge or anything, but having your personal space invaded like that is a bit frustrating. So I decided to start taking a photo of my locker every day after putting stuff in there, just in case 'evidence' was needed later on. After all, it's not nice to take someone's things and even less okay to spread rumors about them. But here’s the kicker, ever since I got all paranoid about this locker issue, mine has remained exactly as I leave it. Alex's locker is still pristine while mine starts out messy again daily. Maybe I was jumping to conclusions too fast, but you know how it goes: if something seems off and continues that way, there must be a reason behind it. Anyway, that’s my tale of the mysterious mess-up and my attempt at solving the great locker mystery of middle school.
