The Annoying Sticker War

So, I have a younger brother named Tim who is obsessed with stickers. I know, it sounds silly to complain about something as harmless as that, but hear me out. My parents used to let us decorate our room walls with posters and drawings when we were younger, but they've since decided to paint over everything in plain white. So now, the only thing Tim can legally put up are these stickers all over his door and my wall next to it. Every single day, he adds more and more of them, despite constant reminders from Mom that he's supposed to keep it to a minimum. I tried talking to him about it, but every time I bring it up, he says something like 'You're just jealous because you don't have cool stickers!' or claims that my bedroom is full of toys and mess too. Then one day, I found myself walking into his room with a can of whiteout paint, thinking if I could hide the stickers from sight, we'd both be happy. But here's where things get complicated... After using the whiteout on several stickers, he came back home from school to find them gone and started yelling at me for messing with his 'artwork.' Our parents ended up getting involved, and instead of punishing him, they decided that since I initiated the conflict by hiding his stickers, I had to clean all the mess in my room and keep it tidy for a week. Now we're both sort of stuck. He's still putting up new stickers every day, but now with an air of defiance, knowing he can do what he wants as long as I don't touch them again. Meanwhile, I'm left with this constant reminder on my wall and an uneasy feeling that it could escalate into a bigger fight any time soon. So here's the question: Am I being overly sensitive for trying to protect my personal space? Is there some middle ground we can find without involving our parents every single time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
