Caught My Teenager Sneaking Out Late Again!

I had a feeling he was up to something last night when I heard him slip out of the house around midnight. He thinks I'm asleep but guess what? Mom's radar is always on! So, yeah, I followed him in my car for a bit and caught him hanging out with some friends at this old abandoned warehouse down by the river. Not thrilled about it, mind you, but there he was, laughing and having fun like only teenagers can. At first, I thought about hauling him back home right then and there, but instead, I gave them all just enough time to have their midnight adventure before bringing my little rascal back under this roof. It's a tricky balance between being a helicopter parent and giving some freedom, you know? Still got to lay down the law in the morning, though.
