My Art Isn't Selling...

I've been pouring my heart into this art for years now, painting every night after work just because I love it so much. But lately... you know how sometimes things don't turn out the way you hope? Like when you pour your soul into a painting and it doesn't get the attention it deserves. People always say 'Oh, be patient! Just keep creating!' but it's tough not knowing if anyone will ever truly see what I'm trying to convey through my brush... I mean, it's not like I'm expecting fame or anything... just a little validation would be nice. But hey, maybe I should focus on selling those cute dog portraits instead of my more serious pieces? Not that I mind doing them, they're fun too and make people happy...
