My Art Isn't Selling Like I Hoped

I spent months pouring my heart into these paintings, and all I wanted was to see them on someone else's walls. But the gallery show last weekend felt like a letdown. Only one piece sold, and even then it was an acquaintance who said they'd buy anything just to be nice. Sitting there surrounded by my work, unappreciated, made me feel small and forgotten.
