Oopsie in Class

So I was late for my 8 AM econ class this morning because I got stuck under a bus stop bench trying to retrieve my phone. By the time I finally crawled out, everyone was already there and started staring as I rushed in panting like an out-of-shape labrador. Professor looked at me funny but thankfully didn't call on me for roll. But now I'm so behind on notes. Is it normal to feel completely mortified every time I think about it? What should I do about catching up with the class?
