My Grocery Shopping Conundrum

So yesterday I went grocery shopping for the first time since I turned 30, which feels weird because it's not like it was a big deal before but suddenly everything about going to the store is such a production. I kept checking labels and counting calories, even when buying something as simple as bread or milk, which sounds ridiculous now that I think about it. Did anyone else have this experience? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
