My Teacher's Name Is Mr. Spellingbee

So my English teacher's last name is Spellingbee. Every time I hear it, all I can think of is the spelling bee contest we had in class two years ago. Like, how am I supposed to take him seriously when he reminds me of that ridiculous day where everyone was shouting out words like 'pterodactyl' and 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'? And it's not just me; even my friends can't stop giggling about it. Is this a thing, or am I the only one who finds this hilariously distracting? Should I tell him or just keep smiling awkwardly every time he speaks? What do you guys think? Am I overreacting?
