The Great Parking Spot Scam

Anonymous Sheepish Rascal #417 · General

I recently moved to a bustling new city where parking spaces are as rare as hen's teeth. The first week, every time I returned home after work, the spot right in front of my building was always taken. It drove me nuts. So one day, after seeing it occupied yet again by someone who clearly didn't live here and seemed oblivious to their surroundings, I decided enough was enough. While they were out getting coffee, I casually told everyone that this space was reserved for the new neighbor. And sure enough, every morning since then, people have been politely avoiding that spot like a minefield, leaving me with my very own private parking haven. Did it feel petty? Absolutely. Would I do it again if needed? In a heartbeat.
