My Little Brother Always Gets the Attention I Deserve

Ever since I was little, my parents always looked at me with such high expectations. They wanted me to excel in everything, from sports to school and beyond. But lately, it feels like all those hopes and dreams have somehow shifted onto my younger brother. He's only eight but already winning every award at his recitals, getting straight A's in school without even trying, and charming everyone around him with a smile that could light up the darkest room. It’s not that I’m jealous; it just feels like all those goals they set for me are now seen as unnecessary because he seems to achieve them effortlessly. I’ve been working hard too but it’s hard when my successes don’t seem to matter in comparison. Is this how parents view older siblings, or am I just feeling down because of a shift in dynamics? Any advice on moving forward and finding my own path?
