Detention Daze

So, I kinda hacked into our school’s computer system last week. Yeah, you read that right. It was just a little experiment to see if I could do it, and now I’m in big trouble with Mr. Johnson. He thinks I’m some tech-savvy whiz kid who wants to mess with the school records or something like that. But seriously, all I wanted to do was find out how old those files were. And I did, some of them go back to when my grandpa was in middle school! It’s just cool knowing that kinda stuff. Anyway, here we are and now everyone thinks I’m a total computer nerd who wants to be a hacker or something equally scary. Mr. Johnson has this weird obsession with keeping everything locked down super tight, like he doesn’t trust us at all. Can you believe it? So my question is: am I the only one who finds this kind of control and fear just plain ridiculous? Is it normal for people to be so scared of technology in our hands? Or am I really the weirdo here?
