Proudly Spilling the Beans on My Prank War with Mike

Alright, I confess, I've been in a prank war with my buddy Mike for years now. It started when we were both just out of college and decided to prank each other as a way to stay connected even though we lived in different states. The funniest one was when I sent him an email supposedly from his boss about a fake company-wide meeting on the most random day of the year, complete with a mandatory pizza lunch and a surprise speaker. He showed up at work that morning thinking he was going to be the star speaker, only to find out it was just me pulling his leg. But you know what? We ended up getting so much joy out of these pranks that they became our way of staying in touch during busy times. And now we're both in our thirties with families and jobs that make every day feel like a Monday, but those pranks always put a smile on my face whenever I think about them. Sure, we got some strange looks from coworkers and had to explain ourselves a few too many times, but it was all worth it for the laughs. And Mike's still trying to out-prank me with something new this year, which means our prank war is far from over.
