had to confess this one

i was at this super fancy restaurant with my family for thanksgiving dinner last year and totally had a food fight in my head over whether or not i should just order the most expensive thing on the menu. like, it was a giant lobster or some crazy seafood dish that cost 300 bucks. and guess what? i did it. ordered it without hesitation. mom looked at me with this shocked face but she didnt say anything. and dad tried to joke about how much my portion of the bill would be but it felt kinda liberating, you know? its not like im going broke or anything, just never done something so extravagant before. i mean, i ate every last bite too, no regrets. kind of wondering when ill get up the nerve to do it again.
