Caught Spilling Drinks Twice in One Night

Tonight at work was one of those nights where it felt like everything went wrong. First off, I'm a pretty clumsy person by nature, but I never let that get in the way of my job as a bartender. There's something about being behind the bar and pouring drinks for people that just makes me feel invincible. So there I was, mid-shift, multitasking with music playing too loudly and the place buzzing with energy. Before I knew it, I slipped while rushing to serve another round and spilled an entire pint of beer right onto a customer's lap. Awkward moment number one checked off. After some quick apologies and napkins, things seemed to calm down. But wait, wasn't that my shift ending? No! It was just the beginning of my personal disaster hour. Late into the night, while handling an order for shots at the bar, I clumsily knocked over a tray filled with glasses of all different drinks, rum, vodka, gin, and watched in horror as they shattered and mixed across the counter. Talk about a mess to clean up! To this day, I still don't know how many nights that patron came back complaining of beer-tinted underpants or if my boss was secretly relieved it wasn't me who had to deal with mopping up broken glass.
