A Shot in the Dark Is Just a Shot

I've been pouring shots for people all night long and somehow I forgot to clock out properly at one point. So instead of hitting the books after my shift, I got stuck bartending for an extra hour or two. Now every time someone orders a shot, it feels like they're ordering me to stay late again. It's just a small lie that saved my GPA, but sometimes the guilt is heavy.
