Sneaking Extra Sweets

So yeah, I was at my grandma's house yesterday and she made this big batch of homemade cookies. She knows I love them, but also that I'm trying to cut back on sweets for health reasons. So when she wasn't looking, I sneakily took a couple extra pieces and hid them in my jacket pocket. Of course, it was super obvious because the pocket bulged out like it had a life of its own! My grandma asked if everything was okay, and I just said yeah, but I couldn't even look her in the eye. Now every time I go to put my hands in that same pocket, I feel this little jolt of guilt and remember those extra cookies staring back at me. It's pretty ridiculous because it wasn't a huge deal, but there's something about sneaking treats behind someone's back that makes you feel like a kid again. Maybe next time I'll just be honest and tell her I want to enjoy them without hiding, she probably wouldn't mind.
