I Broke My Mom's Good Spoon

Yesterday, I accidentally broke my mom’s good silver spoon while she wasn’t home. It was a fancy one she uses only for special dinners, and now it’s cracked in half. I tried to hide it, but crumbs fell on the table, leading straight back to me. Guilt eats at me, what should I do? Should I tell her or try to fix it somehow? Is this normal to feel so bad over a little spoon?
