That Time I Got a Little Too Into My Job

I spilled coffee on someone’s laptop at work yesterday....Had to offer my personal money for the damage since they didn’t have insurance. Customer was pretty upset, said I should be fired. Manager stepped in and calmed them down...Sent an email to customer offering more compensation than initially given. Just trying to make it right, but still feel like a huge failure at times...
