Debugging Myself

I've been working on this code for hours and can't figure out why it won't compile. Then I realized, with a slight blush, that I'd left a TODO comment in the middle of my class definition like 'Fix this later.' Turns out I was debugging myself as if my own mistakes were bugs in an external program. Anyone else ever leave comments to their future selves inside code files? How do you keep track of your tasks without cluttering up the actual logic?
