Boredom at Work is My Nemesis

Working retail has its perks, like meeting interesting people and snagging discounts on my favorite brands. But there’s this weird part of the job that really gets to me, the mind-numbing lulls when nothing happens for hours. I’ve caught myself staring into space so often that the security cameras must think they’re catching me up to no good stuff. Yet all I’m doing is wishing customers would appear, even if it means another day won’t end too soon.
