whenever my parents call to check up on me and ask if i'm working, i swear they can hear the sound of me typing in the background. but really, im just scrolling through social media, watching cat videos or playing a quick game of solitaire. its a tiny white lie, but honestly i feel like i need that break sometimes when my freelance work feels overwhelming.
