when i lost my cool

so today was one of those days when everything felt like it was going wrong. the kids were being loud and wouldn't listen to anything i said. we tried going out for ice cream but ended up leaving in a huff because they kept arguing over which flavor was better. by the time we got home, everyone was on edge. the last straw was when my daughter spilled her juice all over the new carpet while i was trying to make dinner. i lost it and yelled at them. now here i am, wondering why this simple day turned into a nightmare. guess sometimes being a parent means dealing with your own frustrations too.
