A Little Too Much Help

I guess I should confess that sometimes when my grandson asks me to help with his homework, I end up doing most of it for him. He's a smart kid and could probably figure it out on his own, but there are times when he seems so frustrated that I just want to take the burden off him. It's not like I'm cheating or anything, what if he doesn't understand something important and fails an exam? Still, I know helping too much isn't right. But I find myself rationalizing it because I care about his success, even if it means I might be undermining his learning process.
