My Secret Artistic Failures

I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. People always tell me how talented I am, and it's flattering, but there are times when I feel like a fraud. There’s this one painting that I’ve had in my studio for months, stuck between the idea of finishing it and the fear of ruining what could be something great. Every time I look at it, my heart races with anxiety. It started out as a cute little landscape but got twisted into an abstract mess that looks like a child's finger painting gone wrong. The funny thing is, even though I’m terrified to show anyone this piece, deep down, I kind of love its chaos and imperfection. Sometimes being an artist means admitting you’re not perfect.
