The Weekly Coffee Spree

So here's the thing. I've had a pretty rough week at work, just lots of meetings and pointless emails. Yesterday, I decided to treat myself by getting an extra large coffee with cream and sugar, you know, that kind of coffee where they stack two cups high with espresso shots and then top it off like a snow cone but way more delicious. Thing is, I ended up doing this every single day this week because it just became my little escape. By the end of Thursday, my boss mentioned something about cutting back on office supplies costs. Uh oh. Now I'm worried she's going to audit my coffee purchases or something worse. To be fair, the whole team is drinking a ton of coffee and nobody bats an eye at it. But honestly? The way they go after those expensive little snacks in the vending machine every day kind of irks me. Is there really any difference between that and what I've been doing with my caffeine fix? So, am I being too sensitive about this? Should I just tell everyone how much coffee I've had and get it over with, or is this normal for office life stuff like this? Let me know if you have thoughts. Oh, and yes, I'll probably do the same thing next week if nobody says anything.
