I Told My Class's Parents I Saw Them Without Their Clothes On

So there I was, planning out my next science experiment for the class when it hit me. I had seen a few of them without their clothes on in the school hallway this morning. They were just leaving their gym classes and walking back to change for their next period. Well, what's done is done. But here’s how I handled it: I called a meeting with all the parents after school. Yep, you heard right. I told them that I saw them walking down the hallway earlier today without any clothes on. Shocked faces everywhere. Parents started to murmur and shuffle uncomfortably in their seats. Then one parent asked me why they were wearing gym uniforms if they didn't have anything else on. To which I responded, “Oh, just a misunderstanding about when we change after PE classes.” But you know what? It’s not like I was trying to embarrass anyone or do something mean. I was just being honest and clear. So what do you guys think here? Was this the right thing to say at that meeting or should I have kept my mouth shut? Thoughts?
