I'm Not Always Honest With My Boss...

So, there's this thing about my job that I've been doing for a while now. See, every day when we have our morning stand-up meeting, the boss asks if anyone has any issues they need to discuss or bring up... And you know how it is, there are just some days where all I want is to get through without having to think about problems. So instead of actually telling him what's going on, like a real team player should, I've been sending vague emails back saying everything's fine when really, there's this one tiny bug that keeps popping up and driving me nuts. It's not a big deal, right?... But every time I do it, I feel this tiny pinch of guilt... Like maybe I'm not being as reliable or helpful as I should be.... I mean, on the flip side, I get to focus on fixing the issue without stressing everyone else out too much, so there's that. Plus, I've been working on getting better at problem-solving and handling issues solo anyway... So it kinda works for both of us, right? Still, every time I do it, I remind myself to be more upfront next week....
