Spilled Coffee All Over My Boss Today

I mean, it's not like I didn't see the coffee cup right there on their desk as they were walking by me to answer a phone call. But my brain must have just completely shut off because before I knew it, this huge splash of espresso was all over them and everything in sight. My boss has always been really nice and understanding with us baristas when something goes wrong, but today felt like one of the worst moments ever. Afterward, I tried to apologize a million times over, but my stuttering just made things worse! Everyone around me seemed frozen too; they probably thought I was going crazy. Now every time I see them, all I can think about is that awkward mess and how much I wish there was some kind of magic erase button for days like this.
