I'm Proudly Lazy at Work...

So here's the thing... I work as a barista, but I've found this neat trick to make my shifts super chill. You see, whenever there's a long line of customers needing coffee, instead of rushing around like everyone else, I just lean on the counter and chat with them... one by one. It makes the queue feel way shorter for them too... and it's not like anyone expects lightning-fast service anyway. Sure, my manager sometimes gives me those 'aren't-you-supposed-to-be-working' looks, but hey, if they don't have any complaints from customers, what's the problem? I mean, isn't that the real measure of good service? ...
