So here's this awkward situation at work. I mean, it was pretty funny in the moment but now every time my boss walks by with that look on his face, I just want to sink into a hole. It all started when we were super quiet at the shop and there wasn't much going on, so I thought, why not? Just one quick read of this romance novel that's been sitting in my bag for weeks. The next thing you know, he comes around and catches me with a blush on my face and my eyes glued to the steamy part I was reading about. Of course, he just raised an eyebrow at me, which is way scarier than anything else could be. Now every time I'm near him, he's looking at me like I'm some kind of secret agent or something, though I bet his real thoughts are along the lines of 'Why am I friends with this person?' It's hilarious and mortifying all at once.
