Became Obsessed With Crocheting Out of Nowhere

So yeah, I started crocheting about two weeks ago. I mean, it all seemed so cool on Instagram and Pinterest, people making these cute little amigurumi animals and crochet blankets that look like they could be home decor in magazines. But now I can barely stop myself from working on something with yarn whenever someone gives me a minute of their time. My mom keeps asking if I'm okay because I've been spending all my free time at the kitchen table, needles clicking away like mad. And here's the embarrassing part, my first project is this green scarf that looks like it was made by an anxious octopus on acid. It's crooked and lumpy, but honestly? I don't care. Because every night before bed, I sneak into my room to try again until I get better. Maybe everyone will think I'm weird for getting so obsessed with yarn crafts, but at least I'll have a lot of colorful scarves when winter comes.
