New Hobby and My Dad's Reaction

So I started painting recently, which was a surprise even to me. My dad walked in on me today covered in paint and he kind of rolled his eyes before walking away. Guess we'll see if this sticks or just fades into another hobby phase of mine...or maybe it's just about how my dad can't quite figure out what I'm interested in until long after I've moved on.
