My Big Fish Tale

So there’s this kid in my class who always brags about how he caught the biggest fish ever. Yeah, right! He had to know I wasn’t convinced because one day when we were having lunch at our usual spot by the school pond, I saw a tiny fish wriggling in his plastic cup. So naturally, I told everyone it was my fishing line snagged on his big catch and that’s how he got the little thing. Oops! I guess lying is just so much fun, but now every time I see him with some random bug or critter, I think about the fish incident.
