I Bought Too Much Candy

So here's something I've been mulling over lately. You know how as a parent you're always trying to balance the good and bad for your kids? Like, you don't want them eating too much sugar or watching too many TV shows, but at the same time, sometimes it's just easier if they have a little treat now and then. Well, I think I might've gone overboard with Halloween candy this year. My twins were so excited to trick-or-treat, and we ended up getting more than usual because of how enthusiastic they are. Now that all the other kids' buckets are empty or mostly empty, my house still looks like a mini-candy store! I feel guilty every time I see them sneak into their stash late at night with wide eyes, but part of me also feels like if this is what makes them happy for a little while, maybe it's worth it? Still, I'm starting to wonder how long I can maintain the balance between their joy and my own sense of order in the kitchen. Any tips from fellow parents out there? Or am I just going to have to deal with an overabundance of candy for another month or two?
