My Teen's Secret Gaming Addiction

So, last night I was just trying to do some work after everyone went to bed. But then I heard this weird tapping from my kid's room around midnight or something... Really got me wondering what could be making that noise at such a late hour. So, I decided to peek in and guess what? He had his laptop out with headphones on. The screen was all dark though, so I couldn't tell what he was doing. But the tapping sound didn't stop... It's like he knew I was there but kept going anyway. So today, I decided to snoop a bit more. Turned out he has this secret gaming app that doesn't even show up on his main screen or phone logs. I don't know if it's something to be worried about or not... I mean, kids these days are always online for school and stuff but still... It feels like sneaking around breaks some sort of trust... Now I'm left wondering how much more is going on that I just can't see. And why do they all love games so much? Makes me feel old and out of the loop sometimes....
