The Coffee That Could've Been

So I spilled this huge mug of coffee all over the counter yesterday morning. Just my luck, right? It was so warm and cozy in there too before that. Now every time someone walks by with a fresh brew, I see them glancing at me weirdly. And you know how it is when customers start asking if everything's okay, same awkward question five times now! But honestly, it reminded me of last year around this time when things were going pretty well... maybe too much so? Spilling coffee kind of matches my day-to-day mood lately. Oh well, guess I'll just keep smiling and pouring.
