I Started Playing Chess...

Lately, I've been fascinated by chess after watching a documentary about it. Despite my interest, I'm not great at it yet and often lose to the computer on beginner settings. To boost my ego and avoid feeling bad when playing with friends who are better than me, I told them I was abstaining from chess until I reached an intermediate level. It feels silly, but avoiding a bit of embarrassment felt like the right thing to do back then.
