I Broke My Little Brother's Special Toy Without Meaning To

So I've been feeling pretty down about this whole thing lately. It all started when Mom gave me the responsibility to clean out the garage because Dad's bike was blocking everything, and my little brother Timmy was supposed to help me but he didn't show up until much later. I had a huge project due for school, so I ended up working in the garage alone for hours. By the time Timmy arrived, I was really stressed out and just wanted to be left alone with my work. But then, out of nowhere, Timmy's new toy airplane started buzzing around me, trying to get through all this stuff. I got so irritated that I accidentally bumped it off the shelf where it was hanging on some wire hooks. The damn thing flew into the open garage door and... well, you know how these things are made nowadays. It just shattered like glass when it hit the concrete outside. Timmy cried his eyes out for hours afterward. He loved that toy more than anything, got it as a birthday gift from Grandma who passed away last year. I felt so guilty because even though I didn't mean to break it, I still did while he was gone and it's all my fault. I tried talking to him about getting another one, but toys like this aren't made anymore. Plus, Timmy just isn't the same around me since then, barely looks at me when we're together. And Dad thinks I'm being unfair for expecting a little brother who hasn't grown up yet to help out properly. I can see why he's upset now. He still has all his friends' memories of playing with it and stuff. It was supposed to be something special, but instead, I broke the only connection he had left with her after she passed away. Sometimes I wish I could just go back in time and redo that day.
