Feeling Overwhelmed With Choices

I find myself stuck deciding whether to get a job that pays well or pursue my passion in art. It feels like I'm letting down everyone around me when I choose the safer path, but every time I think about taking the risk with art, I worry it's just a dreamy kid's fantasy. Any advice on how to balance this?
