Code Gone Wild

Yesterday at work, I made a simple mistake while refactoring some backend code. Just a misplaced semicolon in one function that seemed innocuous enough. But that one tiny error caused chaos throughout the system. Critical paths were failing left and right. My heart pounded as I tried to figure out what had gone wrong. I could feel my hands sweating on the keyboard. By the time I fixed it, we'd lost a few hours of productivity and the QA team was not happy with me. It's just one of those days when you realize that every line of code matters. Maybe I should've triple-checked before pushing.
